There’s good reason cell phones are amongst the items being scrutinized by airport security. Back in November 2008 Italian police discovered a legit .22 caliber gun disguised as an innocent-looking cell phone during a raid near Naples.
Drugs, ammunition and thousands of pounds numbered among the items seized in the raid against the Neapolitan mafia, but this deadly gadget is the one we’re most intrigued by:
Fully loaded, the gun can fire four shots in rapid succession through the antenna using buttons on the keypad as the trigger.
But look at that old clunker of a phone – practically prehistoric. They’re probably working on one that looks like an iPhone as we speak with next-generation, touch screen aim and fire capabilities.
